​Cornbread Lilies Entertainment

Cornbread & Lilies Entertainment aims to educate the future and live in a world in which ignorance is no longer an excuse for oversimplified cultures. The founders of the group are Anisa Knox ‘15 and Aaron Jackson ‘16 of Swarthmore College.

 

The concept came to fruition while Anisa studied at Beijing Normal University in China. She noticed that Chinese and American people were more similar than one typically thinks . From sharing almost the same interests in certain types of music as well as having particular habits, the world suddenly became very small to her.  

 

Through the use of original entertainment, C&L hopes to gauge everyone, but specifically the Chinese and the Americans, to bridge communities despite pre-conceived notions of what their cultures entail.
